I’m very excited about Wednesday, 10th March. Not only is it my 35th birthday but it’s also the Rock Couture 2010 fashion show in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.  This event is organised by ATEM (Warwick University)

I’ll be organising the make-up for this event and will be working with Anita from Christian Dior. Both of us will be putting our best make-up brushes forward to create some stunning looks to go with this seasons fashions from lines such as House of Fraser’s ‘Therapy’ line, Hooch, Oasis, Bench, Newlook, Levi’s and more.

Today I have a meeting with Nick (Ladies Fashion DM at House of Fraser) who will be showing me some of the great clothes being modelled, so Anita and I can choose the style and colours we will use on Wednesday night.

We also have some special goody bags made up for the event which competition winners will receive.

Theresa from Kenneth Green fragrance will also be there with some great fragrances which include John Paul Gaultier, Paul Smith, Izzy Miyake, and Bvgari (mmm I love Bvgari)

I hope to get some pictures.

Now it’s time to get my make-up kit and brushes tidied and cleaned for action.

Just passing this on from Ms Gwen Devoe, who is the organiser of Full Figured Fashion Week, 2010 (June 16th – 19th)  New York . If you’re a plus-model who’d like to be a part of this amazing event then please read on.

Information on female model submissions for FFFWeek will be announced soon. Start gathering your stillettos and your best photos. And, if you don’t live in NYC, begin to prepare a short video clip of your runway skills. The submission process will begin online and only those with whom there is an interest will be called in for the private casting. So, make sure your submission is on point.

The submission information will be released on the website under “REGISTRATION” and then “Models” very soon.
