This post is so late! I won another award and I need to give thanks and pass on the love to others. As as lovely as they are this will have to be the last award I accept of this kind. Purely because the thanking process takes sooo much time.
I’m sure you understand. I am extremely grateful though.
Here we go!
Rules:
1) Thank and link the person who gave you the award.
2) Pass this award onto fabulous bloggers of your choice.
3) Contact said blogs and let them know they’ve won.
4) Re-post and state 10 things about yourself.
1) Thanks to Stephanie of Buttons, Bows & Brogues for this award!
2) I’m passing this award onto
Matron Jo
Devon/Fat Nurse
Queen Diva
Em
Ariel
3) All ladies above read my blog so they’ll see this – yep I’m letting them know via this page hahaha. Cheat! But seriously, each one of the these ladies has brightened my week.
4) Ten things!! See this is why I have to stop accepting these now. It requires me to think way too much.
1) I lived in a old fashioned village pub opposite a church and right next to a school until I was 9.
2) I have two half brothers and 2 half sisters. 1 lives in Italy, 1 lives in Barbados and the other two live in the UK.
3) My first public performance was in church aged 5 where I sang ‘All things bright and beautiful’ solo to a packed congregation.
4) I was once in a band called the Grinning Suede’s (we sucked)
5) I once tried to style my girls world hair with mouse (like mouse you eat, not mouse you style hair with)
6) I’m the warden of my converted Victorian house. When the three neighbours have maintained issues – they call me before the landlord. Because they say I’m have a nice telephone voice. LOL
7) One of my life goals it to take my teenage Son to Africa on a volunteer holiday to work in an orphanage.
I sat next to Kitten DeVille in Vegas at a Burlesque gathering once and was so star struck I couldn’t speak to her.
9) Right now my brain really hurts.
10) I speak as I find, and take people as they come. The haters can kiss my super plump bottom!

Thank you so much honey! This is so nice and I really appreciate it. I like that you alert people through this post too… I really like that actually.
My cousin is in Kenya at the moment teaching at a small village school. Her photos are amazing and she says it is pretty much the most astoundingly profound experience she has had in her life. She ALWAYS wanted to do this, and has- at 27. You and your son have loads of time!
Thank you for the award.x.
You are welcome. And yes, another friend mentioned her volunteer work to me and said the same thing. I don’t think your life is ever the same after that. V x
