I was thrilled to meet Em, from ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go,’ today for the first time after I’d finished at Asos. We found a lovely little place to share drinks, chat and plan lots of exciting things. She’s every inch as adorable in real life as she is in her blog and totally down to earth – my kind of Gal.
We’ve both got a busy few months ahead so it was so nice to actually meet up before the madness starts.
What did we talk about? Well fashion of course plus, beauty, perceptions of plus-size women, size acceptance and our creative businesses. We also shared some insights on how we blog which was really interesting. Meeting up with fellow bloggers is always insightful.
As I said, we also came up with some cool ideas for some collaborative work too.

It is nice to meet up with people. Big meetings have their disadvantages for me sometimes because there’s so much going on and I want to talk to everyone in depth – but it’s not always possible. It was lovely to meet Em for sure. She’s on the same page as me with a lot of things. I like women with fire who are smart and have their own mind, not someone else’s. Thanks for popping on Papu. V x
