Monetize Niche Knowledge: # 1 – Part of the ‘Get a Grip’ series.
Let’s start at the beginning.
My name is Vanessa Reece (as some of you already know) and I blog about fashion and beauty here at www.vanessareece.com.
- I want to start making real money from my content and I think others to too.
- I still want my blogging to be a fun thing to do.
- I have some great knowledge in various niches and I want to properly pursue putting that content in a product and sell it on the Internet.
Now I will talk about my mindset for doing this. I think there are a lot of bloggers who just don’t see the bigger picture….
They have no problem putting affiliate links or attaining ads for their blogs but most of them (including me until recently) don’t know how best to promote those and also those affiliate links and blog advertising spaces don’t always run the course when they are just stuck on a site. There has to be a better way to receive residual income from what you love to talk about.
I am not going to lie: The journey of doing this is hard work. If you don’t want it badly enough you won’t succeed. But I know it can be very rewarding for many people who do it the right way.
If this is you then carry on reading but remember I can take the horse to water but I can’t make it drink.
I am not a GURU or an EXPERT. What I am is one blogger who is determined to understand the various techniques of making money from valuable knowledge.
You will be coming on a journey with me here which is often a lot more reassuring and less daunting than following an expert or GURU who offers a blue print and all these get rich quick schemes. Not that there is anything wrong with offering a blue print but one size does not fit all and there is no such thing as getting rich quick unless you win the lottery.
My specialities are in beauty and fashion, but I also know a fair bit about Internet marketing and over the course of time I’ll explain how-to get the ‘WOW’ factor and build up your site visitors so when you do come to put your content together in a saleable item you will at least have interested people to take a look at it.
They may not buy it but at least you will have a core group of people to look at it.
Your mind set for making money from your content is so important. It’s daunting, it’s hard work but if you want to succeed then you need to be patient.
