Silver is often considered a harsh colour to wear and it’s also  put into the ‘rock’ fashion style category. But Evans gave me the softer look I wanted…

Inspired By Shoes

I found these silver sequin shoes (Shoe Zone) the other day and fell in love with them but I wanted a silver top to compliment them without the look being aggressive.

After much searching today I found this sleeveless lurex necklace top in Evans, and generally I only ever really get staples (like leggings and black trousers) from my local Evans – but then this popped out.

It has a necklace attached to the garment, although to make the top sit comfortably around the neck I actually unattached it. It’s in a size 20 here and it fits perfectly around the inner arms and flows to the mid thigh.

Make-up

I used gold (Urban Decay), purple and a light aqua green/blue (Beauty UK Palette 4) on my eyes, and for lips I went with light gold shimmer lip gloss. I also used black and gold glitter eyeliner on my upper lash line (though you can’t see it in the picture)

I think it flows really nicely and perfect for an evening out! Luckily enough that’s just what I’m about to do after this post!
